Today's riddle: 4. What is seen in the middle of March and April that can’t be seen at the beginning or end of either month? 🤔 (Answer below!)
• Town of Greece Preparing for High Water Levels (westsidenewsny.com) — Town of Greece officials are gearing up for potentially high Lake Ontario water levels and urging lakeshore residents to prepare now. Crews are staging pumps, planning sandbag distribution, and advising homeowners near the shore to check sump pumps, move valuables from basements, and clear shoreline obstructions so flooding impacts can be reduced if conditions worsen.

• Two former city schools could be sold to charter schools, but some council members want buildings used for housing instead (whec.com) — A charter school currently based in Greece wants to buy a long-closed Rochester City School District building and move closer to its largely city-based students, but the sale needs City Council approval. Some councilmembers instead favor turning former school buildings into housing, setting up a debate that could affect where local students learn and how nearby neighborhoods develop.
