• Greece PD: 3 predicate felons, plus 1, charged for stealing car out of Webster (whec.com) — Police in Greece used license plate reader technology Sunday night to stop a stolen car from Webster in a West Ridge Road shopping center and arrest four suspects, three of them predicate felons. Officers say LPR cameras, funded initially by a state grant, have become a key tool in recovering stolen vehicles and making related arrests around town. 
• Coley continues to produce as Greece Arcadia takes fifth straight decision (pickinsplinters.com) — Greece Arcadia’s girls’ soccer team earned its fifth straight win as eighth-grader Amaya Coley notched a goal and assist in a 3–0 victory over Gates Chili. With senior keeper Lily Tracz recently reaching 400 career saves, the Titans now look to close their regular season Wednesday at Pittsford Sutherland while Gates hosts RCSD United the same night.
• Mother continues fight for Axel's Law nine months after 4-year-old's murder (rochesterfirst.com) — Nine months after 4-year-old Axel Hernandez was killed by his father at a townhome in Greece, his mother is pushing “Axel’s Law” to better protect children in dangerous domestic situations. The proposal, backed by Assemblymember Josh Jensen, calls for faster risk assessments, mental health evaluations, and court reviews, while local agencies continue reviewing what happened before the tragedy.
