92-Year-Old Halesite Man With Alzheimer's Missing

Suffolk police have issued Silver Alert for a missing Halesite man who has Alzheimer’s disease.

Laszlo “Leslie” Tar, 92, was last seen leaving his home on Cliftwood Drive on Friday at 2:48 p.m. He is described as a white male with gray hair, 5-foot-2 and 170 pounds. He was wearing a royal blue polo shirt, blue jeans and black shoes.

Detectives are asking anyone with information about his location to call 911 or contact the Second Squad at 631-854-8243.
