Art League of LI Hosting Interactive Family Exhibit
Join the gallery for a day of crafts, workshops, face painting and more Sept. 8.

On Saturday, Sept. 8 from 10 a.m. until 4 p..m (rain date: Sept. 9), the Art League of Long Island is hosting a Start with Art Open House and Art Exhibit for children and adults featuring:
- Art Demonstrations in all media by the Art League’s art instructors
- Art Exhibits in our bi-level gallery space and introduction to our classes and workshops
- Tours of our brand new, state-of-the-art Computer Graphics Studio
- Sale of Art Supplies and original, handcrafted items
- Meet and Greet with Vincent Van Monkey, the official mascot of Splashes of Hope
- Face Painting for the young and young at heart
- Climbing aboard a Fire Truck
- Learning from a Storybook Author/Illustrator
- Hands-on Art Workshops led by professional artists
Admission to the indoor/outdoor event is free.
A “Small Delights” art show and sale will feature art donated by local artists. The Art League will donate a portion of the proceeds to Splashes of Hope, a unique charity that combines creativity with caring for children in need.
