Please Pet the Gadgets
The Library has a gadget "petting zoo" at the Dix Hills building, where you can try out ebooks on the iPad, Nook, and Kobo Reader.
If you've heard all the buzz about ebooks but still aren't sure if they're for you, come to the Library's Dix Hills building. We'll let you play around with an iPad, color Nook, and the Kobo Reader. You can try reading an ebook on each one and see which you like best. If you need some instruction on a device you are considering, or already own, call 498-1224 and set up an appointment with me - Ellen.
