Small Business Owners - Now is Your Chance to be Recognized

One of HJMT's clients, New York Enterprise Report, is holding an awards competition for small business owners.  New York Enterprise Report is a magazine dedicated to helping small businesses grow. I’ve been subscribing since its inception and it really is a good publication.  The best part is, it’s free. (You can subscribe by going to NYReport.com)

Although the award application is not free, it’s $100, it’s a great way to get exposure and visibility for your business and your accomplishments. The deadline is May 23.  Nomination forms can be found at www.Nyreport.com/awards.

Five businesses will be recognized for their best practices and accomplishments in the following areas:

• Customer Service
• Green Business
• Leadership
• Sales& Marketing
• Technology

In addition, the “Best of the Year Awards” will be awarded in the following categories:

• International Operations Program of the Year
• Non Profit of the Year
• Supplier Diversity Program of the Year

The seventh annual New York Enterprise Report Small Business Awards will be held on Wednesday, October 10th from 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York City.  

Winners will be announced in front of the “who’s who” small business community and will be featured in The New York Enterprise Report’s November 2012 issue.

I would certainly apply if eligible, but since we help the New York Enterprise Report organize this event, we can’t.  However, I have recommended this to all of our clients and I highly recommend it to you.
