Dix Hills FD Welcomes Newest Ambulance
The ambulance was recently dedicated at a traditional wetdown ceremony.
The Dix Hills Fire Department would like to welcome a new addition to their family: a new state-of-the-art ambulance.
The ambulance was recently dedicated at a traditional wetdown ceremony held at fire headquarters.
The Dix Hills Rescue Squad uses five advanced life support ambulances and a first responder vehicle to serve the local community. The Rescue Squad is made up of more than 80 volunteer members that respond out of three stations to both fire and medical emergencies.
