Empty in HHH: Kelly's Fresh

In the continuing series, “Empty in Half Hollow Hills,” Patch features vacant storefronts and seeks input from readers as to the type of business they would like to see fill the empty location.

This week, we're taking a look at the building that once housed Kelly's Fresh, a quaint, upscale supermarket. The store featured fresh produce and other food items set at reasonable prices, and was located next to Retro Fitness on Jericho Turnpike.

Kelly's Fresh was open for about one year, but the Suffolk County Sherrif's office evicted it from the premises in December 2011 after non-payment to Harry Hotels Corp.
