Artists from Nassau, Suffolk, Brooklyn, and Queens vie for awards in the Art League's annual exhibition.

Celeste Mauro: Northport
Frank Sposato: Lloyd Harbor
Nancy Wernersbach: Lynbrook
This year’s exhibit features 51 artists, chosen by Thomas Germano, painter and art historian, who teaches at SUNY Farmingdale and the New York Academy of Art Graduate School in NYC.
Mr. Germano made his selections from a field of 284 entries in all
fine art mediums. He has chosen three artists for Awards of
Excellence: Diana De Santis, William A. Dodge and Doug Reina. In
addition, he singled out Shain Bard, Kathy Burns, Celeste Mauro, Frank Sposato and Nancy Wernersbach for Honorable Mention.
The Jeanie Tengelsen Gallery's hours are Monday-Friday 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
