An Afternoon of Music and Movies at The Dix Hills Performing Arts Center

Independent filmmakers from the Long Island Filmmakers Network and musicians-songwriters with the Long Island Chapter of the Nashville Songwriters Network team up for this exciting afternoon.

The first half will feature songwriters and their new songs written as potential film soundtracks.

The second half will feature filmmakers seeking songs for thier movies.

At the end, the audience will be surveyed and asked to help match songs with films.

A number of film and music industry executives have been invited with the hope that they will help promote the various films and songs.

A free Entertainment Industry Network reception will follow the program.

All proceeds of this event will benefit the Long Island Film Foundation, the Nashville Songwriters Association and the Dix Hills Performing Arts Center.
