1860's "Holiday Candlelight Evenings" at Old Bethpage Village Restoration

19th century entertainment in historic buildings lit only by candlelight, as they would have been on holiday evenings during the 1800s.

Professor Clark's "Magic Lantern" show, an 1866 decorated christmas tree, Civil War Era holiday songs, a holiday brass quartet, period storytelling, hot mulled apple cider, a traditional bonfire, choral music performances, old time fiddle music and contra-dancing all add to the holiday spirit. 

There will also be a holiday craft show held in the decorated Fairgrounds Exhibition Hall.

Opening Ceremomies with tree lighting and performance on Saturday Dec 18 at 5:30 p.m.
