The Dix Hills Library shows the unrated independent film, A Screaming Man (2011), about Adam, a former swimming champion, who is a pool attendant at a hotel in Chad. One day he is forced to give up his job, leaving him humiliated and resentful. Meanwhile rebel forces are attacking the government and the authorities demand the people contribute to the "war effort" with money, forcing Adam, who is penniless, to make a decision he will regret.
