Free Presentation entitled “Maintaining Marital Health” will be held at the Half Hollow Hills Library on Friday, October 14 from 7:00 to 8:30 pm. The library is located at 55 Vanderbilt Parkway, Dix Hills, NY 11746. The presentation will be given by Neil S. Grossman, Ph.D., and Charles McEvily, Esq.
People marry because they fall in love. However, they usually do not realize how much hard work is necessary in a marriage. Over time, close emotional relationships grow and have to be actively nourished. Faculty from Collaborative Dispute Resolutions will discuss how to make marriages succeed and identify destructive elements that should be avoided. Workshop participants will learn specific skills proven to have a positive impact on marriages. Among the topics that will be discussed are:
