'Hills on Stage' Parents Meeting

There will be a mandatory informational meeting and discussion for parents only on Monday, September 13th at 7:00 PM in the Lecture Hall of High School East.  At this meeting, parents will be given a packet with all pertinent information regarding the time and financial commitment to the program.  At least one producer from the show will be available to answer any questions you may have.  If a parent cannot attend this meeting, the family must send an adult representative.  Failure to send an adult representative will make your child ineligible for the program.  (A "save the date" letter was distributed to all eligible students in June to this regard and a follow-up letter will be sent home in early September.)

If you and your child elect to participate, auditions will take place at High School East on the following days:

Wednesday, September 29th at 5:00 PM - (Last Name A-M)

"Hills on Stage" is a districtwide 5th grade theatre program sponsored by the Half Hollow Hills School District and supported by the Hills Foundation.  Inspired by our Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Sheldon Karnilow, and developed to support the district's initiative of creating a "close knit" community, "Hills on Stage" is now in its ninth year of existence.  This wonderful endeavor brings together students, teachers, parent volunteers and professionals from all walks of life in our wonderfully diverse Half Hollow Hills community.  Fifth grade students from each of our seven elementary schools rehearse each week on the Broadway-like stage in the Eugene Orloff Auditorium at High School East from October throughout the end of January.
