Research in the new field of gratitude finds that thankfulness can be nurtured and taught. This program will offer parents and the school community the tools to teach the attitude of gratitude.
Jeffrey Froh is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Hofstra University. He is a NYS licensed, certified school psychologist. He serves as an Associate Editor for The Journal of Positive Psychology. Dr. Froh practiced as a school psychologist in several Long Island school districts, including Half Hollow Hills. He has presented programs nationally and internationally and has been published in Newsweek, Newsday and other media outlets.
