Radio Theater, directed by Bob Stern, presents "My Man Godfrey" and "The Shadow: The Blind Beggar Dies."

"My Man Godfrey" is about dizzy, rich  socialite Irene, who falls in love with the derelict family butler with a mysterious past, Godfrey, whom she picked up at the city dump.

"The Shadow" is about a mysterious figure cloaked in black, fighting the forces of evil and bringing wrongdoers to justice. The Shadow radio program became part of American Culture from 1931 to 1949, coining the phrase, "Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men? The Shadow knows!"
