Seminar on Jacob Conklin-Huntington's Own Pirate (Teens can earn 2 hrs of community service for attending this lecture)

Jacob Conklin was a prominent Huntington resident whose grandfather was the first Conklin to come from England in the early part of the 17th century, He was a crew member on Captain William Kidd's ship in 1696 and eventually settled in present day Wheatley Heights where he built the first mansion in that area, later considered Babylon.
