"Top of the Pops" Music of Broadway and Hollywood

The Concert Pops will be kicking off their summer season in the comfortable air-conditioned DHPAC Theater at Five Towns College on June 9th, followed by performances on July 21 and August 11.

The program will feature “Tops of the Pops,” the Music of Broadway and Hollywood. FTC Pops is led by Conductor Dean Karahalis, and includes the Talents of FTC students and alumni.

 The group is solely comprised of FTC musicians, many of whom perform in other New York and regional orchestras, bands and theater pit orchestra, as well as teach music in public and private schools from Riverhead to Manhattan.

Following this performance, the FTC Pops will be featured artists in “Music Under the Stars” free outdoor concerts in Nassau and Suffolk counties in July and August. The FTC Pops will return for an indoor concert at DHPAC on July 21 for a “Musical Salute to Summer 2011!”
