Renowned LI photographer Asia Lee's works on display

Walt Whitman Shops has aligned with Long Island photographer Asia Lee to create and produce a mini gallery of her renowned images at the property. Five oversized photographs depicting the natural beauty prevalent in different areas of the region are now on display at Walt Whitman Shops for the public to view, admire and potentially bring home.
“We are thrilled to feature this local artist’s talent for capturing the incredible beauty of Long Island’s natural landscape,” commented Kathleen Herrmann, director of mall marketing and business development for Walt Whitman Shops. “This display fits perfectly with the aesthetic that we have achieved at the property since Walt Whitman Shops unveiled its transformation last fall.”
The oversized artwork, with an average size of 40” by 60”, are encased in glass, mounted and will remain on display through 2014 in the public hallway near Macy’s at Walt Whitman Shops. Featuring stunning locations including Captree Island, Crab Meadow Beach, Lloyd Harbor, Robert Moses Causeway and Heckscher State Park, the scenes capture the essence of its subject and aim to tell a story that is true to the setting.
