Half Hollow Hills Holiday 2010

HHH students have been enjoying the holidays so far. Here's a sneak peak at a little of what they've been doing.

Pictured, are highlights from some of the schools:

Yummy gingerbread! At , Corrine Hoffman and Corrie Ann Young's afternoon pre-kindergartners are busy looking for the gingerbread man after reading the classic stories.

Snowflakes for sale at ! The Student Council takes the initiative every holiday season to raise money to purchase gifts for needy families within their school community.

First graders at Sunquam Elementary School wanted to be sure that everyone is warm this winter. They creatively hand-painted soft flannel scarves and donated the scarves to a local women's shelter.

Principal Chad Snyder and Assistant Principal Deborah Forsyth shared a special Barnes and Noble family evening event with students. Everyone had books on their wish lists.

Throughout all Half Hollow Hills schools, the accomplishments of music students are showcased and enjoyed in winter concerts. Here, at , the Symphonic Orchestra directed by Karen Romeo, plays Johann Sebastian Bach's Double Concerto in d minor with Violin Soloists Brontte Hwang (left) and Danielle Chuang (right).
