HHH Showcased in Applebee's

The Huntington Station restaurant has a new look, featuring Half Hollow Hills students.

“There’s no place like the neighborhood”…the slogan for Applebee’s, an internationally franchised restaurant, based on the philosophy, “Good food, good people.” It’s the place to find Half Hollow Hills high school students socializing and sharing the "2 for $20" menu deal.

Last summer, the local Huntington Station Applebee’s, located on Route 110, underwent major interior renovations. Gone are the team jerseys, athletic equipment, and dated newspaper clippings. In place, Half Hollow Hills students are prominently featured in the form of giant wall murals, collages, and framed photos—images captured by District Photographer Felice Kristall.

The first Applebee’s opened in 1980 in Atlanta, Georgia. The name officially changed to Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar in 1985 when the group became a franchise. Today, there are 1,496 restaurants world-wide.

Call a friend, take the family, and visit the Huntington Applebee’s and you just might see yourself on the Half Hollow Hills wall of fame.
