Saturday, October 20th, was the perfect weather day for Homecoming 2012 at Hills West. The parade kicked off with 'lots of fanfare at 11:30 a.m., as firetruck sirens announced the arrival of Homecoming Court couples riding in convertibles, Wranglerettes Danceline, Cheerleaders, Vanderbilt and Forest Park Elementary Schools, Candlewood Middle School, Hills East Dixettes Kickline, and the beat of the Colts Marching Band.
Following, class skits were performed in the gymnasium, and then it was back to the turf field for the football game and grandstands filled with spirited spectators. The crowning of King and Queen followed the game. Congratulations to King Jeffrey Kautz and Queen Mia Pitsironis.
