HHH Language Director Named VP to State Association

Francesco Fratto, the Half Hollow Hills Director of World Languages and ESL, was recently elected as the second vice president to the New York State Association of Foreign Language Teachers, Inc.

The association supports an early start to language learning and encourages continued language study beyond the minimum requirement in order to prepare students to meet the challenges of a global community. 

“Half Hollow Hills prides itself on the talents and diversity of its staff”, Superintendent Kelly Fallon said. “To see them acknowledged for their leadership abilities and commitment to education outside of the district is an incredible honor not only for Francesco but for the entire Half Hollow Hills community. We’re very proud of Francesco’s accomplishments.”

The position gives the Half Hollow Hills School District a direct link with the State Education Department and allows Fratto to advocate as a voice among members of the Board of Regents and NYS Legislators.
