Hills East Football Looking for Golf Outing Sponsors

The Thunderbirds will hold the fundraising event July 23 at Crab Meadow.

The Hills East varsity football team is working its way up the ladder in Division I.

The Thunderbirds are rebuilding their reputation and have quickly become a team to be reckoned with. The team went from 0-8 in 2010 to 3-5 this school year. To reach further success, the underdogs are asking their communities for support.

A golf-outing fundraiser will be held July 23 at Crab Meadow Golf Course in Northport. The event, which was held for the first time last year, will include a shotgun format with more than 150 participants. Golfers enjoy breakfast, 18 holes, lunch and prizes. There will also be a silent auction, raffles and contests such as “Longest Drive”.
