Kelly's Fresh Market Open for Business

 Dix Hills has long been lacking a quaint, upscale supermarket – until now.  Located on Jericho Turnpike, Kelly’s Fresh Market is a charming, family-owned supermarket that promises quality goods and a uniquely personalized shopping experience. 

Kelly’s, named after owner Steve Papakonstantis’ cousin, is truly a family affair.  The store is founded on “departmental management experience of 120 years,” said Papakonstantis.  Such experience has given him and his family an eye for details – the “personal touches,” as he called it. 

Like most other markets, Kelly’s is subdivided into departments, including produce, baked goods and prepared foods.  However, the quality of the products is, as Emeril would say, “kicked up a notch.”

“To maintain freshness, our produce is delivered daily.  Our bread and prepared foods are also made daily,” stated Papakonstantis.  “We have four full-time chefs working on our prepared foods and catering.”  All cooking is done on-site.

“We’re passionate about the neighborhood and the industry,” Papakonstantis added.  “We’re an upscale market with discount prices.  There’s nothing else like this in the area.”

Though already open for business, the grand opening of Kelly’s Fresh Market is scheduled for Saturday, January 15.  The store is open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week.
