Elementary school-age students participate in the Town's "Playground Program Talent Show."

Local campers shined in the town's recent "Playground Program Talent Show," showing off their dance moves, musical gifts and high-flying acrobatics.

Councilwoman Susan Berland congratulated the participants with official plaques at the Chapin Rainbow Theater in Hecksher Park on Tuesday. It is the first year the talent show will be aired on the Town’s television channel.

The “Playground Program Talent Show”, was a compilation of acts – ranging from dance numbers, musical numbers, gymnastics, and basketball – performed by campers from Bellerose, Birchwood, Boyd, Jefferson and Vanderbilt. Each camper competed at their individual camp for their spot in the talent show.
