Children join their parents and teachers for an evening of reading and fun.

A serving of green eggs and ham is on the menu at Half Hollow Hills elementary schools as the district kicks off a special Dr. Seuss themed reading program.

Students joined their parents and teachers for an evening of reading and fun earlier this month during a pajama party at . The event is part of the Parents As Reading Partners program (PARP), which is intended to strengthen the partnership between home and school.

This year's theme is a Dr. Seuss spin off: 'Oh The Places You'll Go With Reading."
