Reward Offered for Info on Plainview Bank Robber
The robbery occurred Thursday, April 9.
Authorities are offering a reward to anyone who knows information about a man who robbed a Plainview bank last week.
Crime Stoppers will give up to $5,000 as a reward for any information that leads to an arrest. Call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-244-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
According to police, the man handed a demand note to a teller at TD Bank, 500 Old Country Road, took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot at 10:45 a.m. on Thursday, April 9. He went south in the parking lot towards Old Country Road and then north on Norma Street.

Police described the suspect as a white male, between the age of 25 and 30 and about 6-feet tall. He was thin, unshaven and wearing a dark jacket, a dark bandana on his head, a white pullover shirt and jeans.
Four employees and no customers were in the bank at the time of the robbery and no injuries were reported, police said.
