senior Daniel McCord will be running for Princeton University this year. The running star signed his letter of intent to the Ivy League school where he plans to study biological sciences.
McCord has been named twice to both All-American in the 4 x 200 and All-State in the 4 x 400. He also took first place in New York State Empire Games 200-meter sprint.
Aside from his track and field legacy, McCord was a three-year varsity starter on the Colts football team, which took the Suffolk County Championships in 2009. He went on to help lead the team's first-ever Long Island Championship and the Rutgers Cup for Best Team in Suffolk County.
