In a letter to the community last month, Superintendent Linda Rozzi wrote that an employee had been relieved of his responsibilities last month and "the employee in question was immediately reassigned to home." According to News 12, the teacher was escorted out of the classroom during the school day.

At a special meeting last week, the Babylon Board of Education announced that they approved a separation agreementwith a "professional staff member." Many community members have made accusations on social media about several teachers at the high school in light of this incident, and say it has been a long-time toxic environment. Parents say their concerns were swept under the rug and the problems were allowed to continue for years.

The Babylon Board of Education has yet to comment. This is a developing story.
