Sports equipment distribution drive
There will be a sports equipment distribution event on September 6th, 10am - 2pm, at the HHH high school West "new gym".
I am a junior in the Half Hollow Hills school district, and also a Girl Scout Ambassador working on my Gold Award project. For my Gold Award, I am doing a community service project titled “Everyone Can Play”. “Everyone can Play” is for students who may not have the opportunity to play a particular sport due to various reasons. I would like to be able to give them an opportunity to discover a hidden talent, allow them to participate on a team, or simply to experiment with a sport that they are interested in and might not have been able to try before.
I have collected over 500 sports equipment items and am now looking to distribute them to kids in need. I will be hosting a distribution event on September 6th, 10am - 2pm, at the HHH high school West “new gym”. There is no cost or exchange required. I ask that you please send me an email at everyonecanplay.dm@gmail.com with the equipment you are requesting, so I am able to check if I have it and then put it aside for you. I will also be collecting more equipment at this event.
