Teens Cook Feast for Families in Need in Dix Hills

Members of CTeen took over The Chai Center's kitchen for several hours to whip up the meals.

Teens took over the kitchen at The Chai Center in Dix Hills to put together a feast fitting for the Jewish holidays for local families in need on Thursday, Sept. 22.

The members of The Chai Center’s CTeen chapter made the meals for ten families that either are coping with a sick parent, a sick child or both.

The teens took the time to peel, chop, boil and bake for several hours to create a festival meal for the families to enjoy the upcoming Jewish holidays.
