Wranglerettes Receive County Honor for National Wins

Legis. Steve Stern awarded the Hills West dance team with Suffolk County proclamations on Wednesday for its three national competitions.

The Half Hollow Hills High School West Wranglerettes were a triple threat this year, taking top honors in the hip hop and modern dance categories at Disney World in Orlando, Fla. and a third during the Eastern Cheer and Dance Association’s Big Apple National Classic.

The team is coached by Lucille Kenney, who has attended the Disney competition for the past 20 years.
