• Elderly Hampton Bays Man Abused by His Live-In Caretaker, Police Say (longisland.com) — Police say an elderly Hampton Bays resident was taken to a local hospital after officers responded to his home and investigated reports of physical abuse by his live-in caretaker. The caretaker, a Queens man, was arrested on felony charges related to endangering a vulnerable person, and the case remains under investigation.
