1 Dead, 1 Critical After Knife Fight In Harlem Shelter, Police Say
A Friday morning argument between two men at a Harlem shelter escalated when one pulled a knife, police told Patch.

HARLEM, NY — One man is dead and another is in the hospital with critical injuries after a Friday morning in a Harlem shelter, an NYPD spokeswoman told Patch.
The two men were arguing inside the BRC Cecil Ivory House on West 132nd Street around 7:50 a.m., when one of the men pulled a knife, an NYPD spokeswoman said. During the ensuing fight, both men suffered stab wounds, police said.
One of the men, 44, was pronounced dead on the scene and the other man, 39, was transported to Harlem Hospital in critical condition, police told Patch. Both men have not been identified.
