12-Year-Old Girl Reported Missing in Harlem

Police are asking the public's assistance in finding a 12-year-old girl who went missing Wednesday.

HARLEM, NY -- Police are searching for a 12-year-old girl who was reported missing in Harlem.

Mya Smith was last seen at 8 a.m Wednesday at 307 West 117 Street, police said. She was reported missing the same day.

Smith is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 110 pounds, police said. She has brown eyes, black hair and was last seen wearing a gray T-shirt, black and white leggings and white flip flops, police said. Smith is pictured above.
