13-Year-Old Girl Reported Missing in Harlem
Police said the girl was last seen Wednesday, Aug. 17, at her apartment on Saint Nicholas Avenue.

HARLEM, NY — Police are searching for a 13-year-old Harlem girl reported missing Thursday.
Cherisse Alvarez was last seen at her Harlem apartment building on the 400 block of Saint Nicholas Avenue Wednesday around 1 p.m., police told Patch. When Alvarez went missing she was wearing a white shirt and blue jeans, police said.
Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or 1-888-57-PISTA (74782) for Spanish. The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime stoppers website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) and entering TIP577. All tips are confidential.
