14-Year-Old Boy, 2 Men Shot in East Harlem Housing Public Housing Building

All three people shot on Thursday were transported to the hospital, but are expected to survive.

EAST HARLEM, NY — Three people were sent to the hospital Thursday night after a shooting in an East Harlem public housing building.

The shooter opened fire in the Robert F. Wagner Houses around 7 p.m., wounding a 14-year-old boy and two 23-year-old men, police told Patch. The boy was hit three times and the two other men were hit once, police said.

All three of the gunshot victims were transported to the hospital, but are in stable condition and expected to live, police said. Two were taken to Metropolitan Hospital Center and one to Harlem Hospital, police said.

The suspects are described as a man with braids and blonde tips and a woman wearing a white shirt, police said.
