15-Year-Old Boy Shot Several Times In East Harlem, Police Say

Police said no arrests have been made yet, and the investigation into the incident is underway.

EAST HARLEM, NY — Police are investigating after a teenage boy was shot several times in the chest and leg over the weekend in East Harlem, New York City Police Department officials said.

According to the NYPD, the boy was in front of 1595 Madison Ave., near East 108th Street, when he was shot several times at 11:15 p.m. on Saturday.

Police responding to a 911 call about the shooting reported the boy was shot multiple times in the upper right chest and his upper right thigh, officials said.

Police rushed the teen to Harlem Hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.
