3-Year-Old Boy Dies After Fall From Harlem Apartment Window

HARLEM, NY — A 3-year-old boy died Sunday night after falling from the window of his family's Harlem Apartment, Police told Patch.

The accident occurred at the Harlem River Houses on Frederick Douglass Boulevard, officials said. The boy fell 13 floors.

The boy was taken to Harlem Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival, police said.

"We are deeply saddened about the death of the young boy at Harlem River Houses II. This tragic incident is still under investigation by NYPD Housing Bureau," said a New York City Housing Authority statement acquired by New York 1.
