HARLEM, NY — Halloween is no longer a one-night affair. Whether you're looking for a trick-or-treating alternative or you just want to extend the Halloween fun, Harlem has free and low-cost events for all ages. So grab your costume(s) and check out these spooktacular events:

#FoodTacular Halloween Taco Crawl

Most people associate Halloween with candy, but this event focuses on tacos. Kick off the weekend before Halloween by hitting up three great East Harlem restaurants for a night of taco eating.

"Our goal with this meet up is to introduce you to the spots that we already love, in hopes that you’ll keep going back for more. Plus stuff our faces with every great taco we can find," organizers wrote on Eventbrite.

8th Annual Halloween Extravaganza

The Mount Morris Park Community Improvement Association will host its annual Halloween celebration for the eighth time in 2017.

Activities include: face painting, a magic show, animal balloon making and a costume parade for both children and adults. Partygoers will also have the opportunity to face off in a costume contest.

Harlem Grown's Halloween Festival

Nonprofit organization Harlem Grown will throw a Halloween Festival this year at its West 134th Street farm.

The Harlem Grown festival will be a great chance to take in some healthy snacks before gobbling down sugary treats on Halloween night. Other activities include face painting, spooky arts and crafts, a cooking demo and a haunted hoop house.

Halloween Pumpkin Flotilla

The annual Halloween Pumpkin Flotilla will be held in the Harlem Meer in Central Park this year. Activities include pumpkin carving, spooky stories, a costume parade and, of course, the pumpkin flotilla.

Watch as illuminated jack-o'-lanterns are sent floating across the Harlem Meer as the sun sets.

Spooky City: Third Annual Halloween Party

The Museum of the City of New York in East Harlem will hold its third annual Halloween Party on Tuesday afternoon. The party is perfect for families and is a great way to mix in some learning with this year's Halloween fun.

Activities include mask making, a New York scavenger hunt, pumpkin decorating and a dance party with a live DJ.
