Apollo Theater to Host DMX, Jim Jones, Jadakiss for Classic Hip-Hop Concert

Some of the biggest stars of late 90s and 2000s hip-hop will perform in a stacked lineup at the Apollo Theater in August.

HARLEM, NY — The Apollo Theater will play host to some big names from late '90s and 2000s hip-hop such as DMX, Jadakiss and Harlem's own Jim Jones for a stacked concert in August.

In Jones' own words it's going to be "ballin," (sorry).

Joining the rappers will be DJ Scram Jones. All the artists performing at the Apollo will have ties to New York. Jim Jones is from Harlem, DMX and Jadakiss are from Yonkers and DJ Scram Jones is from New Rochelle.

Tickets for the concert go on sale Friday, July 8 at 10 a.m., according to the Apollo Theater's Facebook posting.
