Boy Robbed At Gunpoint In Harlem, Police Say
The investigation is underway, police said.
HARLEM, NY — A 14-year-old was robbed at gunpoint on Friday morning in Harlem, New York City Police Department officials told Patch.
According to the NYPD, the child was walking near West 138th Street and Edgecomb Avenue at 8:08 a.m. when a man threatened him with a gun before stealing his cellphone and running off.
The child was treated on the scene for minor injuries, and a person of interest was taken into custody, but no charges have been filed yet, police said.
