Join us on the Great Lawn in St. Nicholas Park, the James Baldwin Lawn at West 135th Street and St. Nicholas Avenue, for an unforgettable summer evening of Harlem jazz.

Experience the soulful sounds of Les Goodson and George "Bodacious" Bowman—accomplished musicians, master storytellers, and proud members of the New Amsterdam Musical Association (NAMA).

As part of Harlem One Stop and Friend's of St Nick's Sounds of St. Nick summer concert series, we're thrilled to present NAMA Outside, bringing Harlem's rich musical legacy directly to the community. Pack a picnic, bring your family and friends, and enjoy 90 minutes of extraordinary live music in one of Harlem's most beautiful outdoor settings.

This free concert is open to all. RSVP and let us know you'll be joining us!

Founded in 1904, NAMA is one of Harlem's oldest and most influential music organizations. From its clubhouse at 107 West 130th Street, generations of jazz masters and emerging artists continue to gather, perform, and keep Harlem's musical traditions alive.

Come experience the music, history, and spirit that make Harlem the heart of jazz.

This event is made possible with the funding from the West Harlem Community Development Corporation, Community Benefits agreement grant and the support of the NY Parks & Recreation, Historic Parks.
