Join Harlem One Stop, Good Vibes in the Park, and Friends of St. Nicholas Park for an afternoon of health, wellness, and live music on June 27th.

The day features a special Ode to the Black Fiddler performance by jazz violinist and vocalist Charisa the Violin Diva with StringsNation. Ode to the Black Fiddler is an IAH Studio initiative that highlights the artistry and cultural contributions of string musicians of color through live performance and community-centered programming.

Charisa Rouse is an in-demand violinist, vocalist, and composer who has collaborated with artists including Wynton Marsalis, Savion Glover, Quincy Jones, Kim Burrell, Common, Diana Krall, Musiq Soulchild, and William McDowell, among others. For this set, she is joined by her ensemble StringsNation, presenting a dynamic mix of soul, jazz, hip-hop, R&B, and more.

"Harlem: Uptown is Everything" celebrates Harlem’s vibrant musical legacy—from the sounds of Jazz, Blues, and Swing that helped define the Harlem Renaissance to the artists carrying that creative spirit forward today.
