Mentored by the legendary Etta Jones, she has performed at Jazz at Lincoln Center's Dizzy's Club, the Blue Note, the Lenox Lounge's Zebra Room in Harlem, and stages far beyond. She hosts the beloved "Jazz Woman to the Rescue!" radio program on WHCR 90.3 FM and was named a 2024 Jazz Hero by the Jazz Journalists Association.
