City Councilman Mark Levine to Celebrate Opening of 142nd Street Dog Run Saturday

A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held Saturday for the new dog run at 142nd Street in Riverside Park.

WEST HARLEM, NY — This weekend residents of West Harlem and Hamilton Heights will have one more spot to spend quality time with their canine friends.

City Councilman Mark Levine, the Riverside Park Conservancy and the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation will unveil the new and improved 142nd Street Dog Run at a ribbon cutting ceremony Saturday.

The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. and will offer light refreshments.
