HARLEM, NY — Most meetings and events may be virtual these days, but there's still plenty going on in Harlem.

Patch has compiled a list of events for neighbors to mark on their calendars. From community meetings to family events, here are the dates to know for the week of May 16.

Movement Speaks: free on-street, in-person dance classes for older adults

Harlem residents — especially NYCHA residents and Spanish-speakers — can receive a $20 Amazon gift card for completing the Harlem Community Health Needs Assessment survey from the Harlem Health Initiative at CUNY Graduate School of Public Health & Health Policy.

The West Harlem Development Corporation is hosting a contest asking West Harlem artists to help design its new logo — the winner will receive $1,250, with smaller prizes for second and third place. Deadline to apply is May 31.

Community Board 10 is asking people to donate personal care and toiletry items for seniors — learn more here

East Harlem's Pleasant Village Community Garden is seeking volunteers — email pleasantvillagegarden@gmail.com to volunteer.
