Fire Breaks Out At Harlem Fairway, FDNY Says

The fire was put under control within an hour on Thursday morning.

HARLEM, NY — A fire broke out Thursday morning at the Harlem Fairway supermarket near the Hudson River, an FDNY spokesman said.

Firefighters responded to a call of a fire at 2328 12th Ave., near West 133rd Street, around 2:30 a.m., an FDNY spokesman said. The bulk of the fire appeared to be on the exterior of the supermarket, the spokesman said.

The fire was placed under control around 3:14 a.m., an FDNY spokesman said. No injuries were reported.
