Firefighters Douse Blaze At 27-Story Harlem Apartment Building: FDNY

HARLEM, NY —Fire officials rushed to the scene of a fire at a 27-story apartment building in Harlem Monday night.

The fire was reported around 9:38 p.m. at a building on Lenox Avenue between West 147 and West 146 streets, where the fire burned on the 16th floor, officials said.

The fire was brought under control just after 11 p.m. and a hazmat crew called for the removal of an e-bike, though it is unknown whether the bike caused the fire, according to officials.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation, officials said.
