Grab $8 Meals At These East Harlem Restaurants For Uptown Restaurant Week

EAST HARLEM, NY — Several East Harlem eateries in the area of 125th Street and Park Avenue will be serving up $8 specials until Feb. 10 for Uptown Restaurant Week.

Twelve area restaurants will participate in the dining promotion organized by the the New Harlem East Merchants Association (NHEMA). Some dishes being served include and hot turkey and cheese croissant, a breakfast plate with waffles; eggs and a side of meat, and an "urban garden" plate inspired by East Harlem community gardens.

Uptown Restaurant Week is not affiliated with NYC Restaurant Week, a promotion organized by a city tourism agency in which participating restaurants offer three-course lunch and dinner menus for $29 and $42.
